The Future of Enterprise Architecture: Predictive Modeling and Strategic Foresight
For two decades enterprise architecture got good at describing what exists. The question the business actually pays for is different: what happens if we change this? This session is my answer. Architecture decisions become traceable assets, the portfolio becomes something you can simulate, and AI augmentation is what finally makes both practical at enterprise scale.
What we'll get into
Decisions as a living graph
LLMs capture and link architecture decisions from ADRs, meeting notes, and decks, connected to the capabilities, risks, and investments they touch — kept current by machines instead of by discipline.
Blast radius, simulated
Once the architecture is a model, agents run the what-ifs: which capabilities a change touches, what it costs, which teams feel it first. Scenario planning becomes a query you run before committing.
A copilot over the EA repository
